Private RAD Classes and Non-Syllabus Classes

How do I BOOk private GBS CLASSES FOR MY CHILD?

To apply for GBS classes, please complete our online Booking Form. Please note, there may be waiting lists for private classes. Once a place becomes available we will contact you with further details.

What does my child need to wear for their class?

Your child should wear ballet attire for their class. It is recommended that they wear ballet shoes for the class. If they are unable to wear ballet shoes, please wear shoes with soft soles.

Jewellery must not be worn, unless for religious or cultural reasons. Uniform can be purchased from GBS Online Store.

Can I watch my child’s class?

We have Watching Days which give parents and carers the chance to see how their children have progressed in class. Watching Days take place in normal class time at the end of the Autumn and Summer term.

 

Adult Ballet Classes and Silver Swans® Classes

How do i JOIN ONE OF THE ADULT BALLET CLASSES OR silver swans® CLASSES?

To apply for the Adult Ballet classes or Silver Swans® classes, please complete our online Silver Swans® Booking Form. Please note, there may be waiting lists for classes. Once a place is available we will send you an invitation to a trial class. This is to ensure that you are happy to continue with the class before enrolling. Further details will be sent with your trial invitation. We do not offer free trial classes for Adult Ballet classes or Silver Swans® classes.

I have NOT DONE BALLET BEFORE. do you have a suitable CLASS for me?

The Adult Ballet classes and Silver Swans® classes have options for beginners, improvers and for more advanced dancers (those who have a lot of dance experience or who are returning to dance after a break).

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR to the ballet class?

Dance or gym wear is fine. Please see our Uniform List for further guidance regarding what to wear to class. You are advised to wear ballet shoes for the class to enable you to use your feet with the dexterity required and for health and safety reasons. If you are unable to wear ballet shoes, please wear shoes with soft soles.

I HAVE HAD AN INJURY AND I AM NOT SURE IF IT WILL AFFECT MY ABILITY TO TAKE PART?
